Very even composistion and choice of lighting angle. The pose is also feels very classic.

Unfortunately there are some post production problems. If you're using photoshop to desaturare your photos, dont simply use grayscale or desaturate, use the channel mixer in monochrome mode and you can control the contrast between red, green, and blue which gives it a more natural look.

Also with this technique you'll find you wont have to use the contrast or brightness sliders as much and that will help tame or prevent the washed out highlights you see on the model's shoulders.

Actually I didn't mess with contrast or brightness at all. That was the levels I was playing with. Here, I've tried what you suggested, is this any better?
